The sharks they see range in size from five to fifteen feet, and are often just inches away from the cage and the spectators inside! They travel offshore three to four miles to our cage moored in the beautiful cobalt blue water. The visibility is so good (often 150 feet or more) that you can actually see the sharks come up from the deep. Often on the way, you may also encounter dolphins, Hawaiian green sea turtles, and magnificent humpback whales (November through May).

 

The cage can hold up to eight people comfortably which allows small families to experience their shark dive together. No chumming is necessary as the sharks are attracted to the sound of our motors which they interpret as a crabbing vessel and a potential food source. Guests are encouraged to bring their own underwater cameras for the opportunity to capture the best footage of Hawaiian sharks anywhere. Disposable cameras and a video option are also available for purchase.

 

Details of the Oahu shark cage: 

  • – Operates 7 days a week 
  • – 7:00am, 7:30am, 8:00am, 8:30am, 9:00am, 9:30am and 10:00am 
  • – Check in a half hour prior 
  • – Tour time lasts about two hours – from check in to check out- Driving time from Waikiki is about 90 minutes 
  • – Hawaii Shark cage diving time is 20 minutes 
  • – Money back guarantee – if no sharks are sighted on the trip you can get your money back (not including transportation) 
  • – Early morning shark cage swims have the calmest water

Child rates available for children 3-12. No child under the age of 12 may participate in the shark cage diving without an adult on board (cage or boat). *Infants are free but a reservation is Required. Infants are not allowed on tours after 9 a.m.

Waikiki Transportation is available for $75.00. The pick up is between 6:00am – 6:20am for the 8:00am through 10:00am dives ONLY. Return to Waikiki at 2pm. No refund on transportation if tour gets canceled.

For Kamaaina Rates, a local Hawaii ID or Hawaii College ID must be shown upon check-in for every passenger. Non-Residence guests must purchase a separate ticket at $85.00
